What is a climate calculation?

A climate assessment helps you understand your impact on the environment, by calculating the total emissions of your business. Using internationally recognized frameworks such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064, we create a basic understanding of your current carbon footprint and allow you to create a relevant action plan to reduce your emissions. Making a climate calculation is mainly useful for internal purposes; to be able to make comparisons over time and measure the impact of different measures.

Of course, you can also share your work with your stakeholders, to tell them about your initiatives and involvement in climate work, which can increase both knowledge and transparency.

What is included under the GHG Protocol?

The GHG Protocol makes the following distinction:

1	Direct emissions from activities owned or controlled by the company	Own production of heat or combustion of fuel from own-owned vehicles.
2	Indirect emissions from purchased energy sources.	Purchased electricity or district heating.
3	Indirect emissions occurring upstream or downstream along the value chain.	Purchased materials, services, transport or business travel.
