During the spring and early fall of 2022, we at Hållbarhetsteamet have assisted Proton Group in writing and creating a structure for their sustainability report. Thank you for the trust, Proton Group!
The need
Proton Group is a Swedish, family-owned industrial group founded in 1990. Today, the group has 400 employees working in five different business areas. Hållbarhetsteamet came into contact with Proton Group, as they felt the need to visualize the sustainability work to make the direction of travel more visible to employees, customers and other stakeholders.
The mission
Together with a project group from Proton Group, our Team has supported the preparation of the Group’s first sustainability report. Hållbarhetsteamet has provided relevant knowledge, supported the creation of a long-term structure, quality assured the content, but also contributed with input and recommendations for the continued sustainability work.
The task was carried out together with Copywriter Amelie Bergman from the company Jordbruket and Anna Vestman, Art-Director from the company Hundrasvart.
The result
Proton themselves believe that the Sustainability Report has created a sense of pride within the company. By updating the report in the following year, they will now be able to more easily show others the work that is going on, and at the same time make the results of the work visible.
When Proton Group was asked “Was the Sustainability Report as intended?” they themselves answered on their website:
“It actually became much more than that, it really breathes Proton and is just as transparent as we wanted and also very personal. Many sustainability stories and reports are often written in a different mold, but together we managed to create a story that is true to us, both in spirit and values.”
During the work on our Sustainability Story, we had a stimulating, instructive and transparent collaboration with Anna and Daniel from Hållbarhetsteamet. They added knowledge that we ourselves lacked in the subject, helped us create a long-term sustainable structure for our story and gave us many great insights into our sustainability work and the design of the story.
