About Qtech Group in brief
Qtech Group is a full-service provider of complex mechanical solutions, with a relentless focus on high quality. Founded in 2012, in response to a change in market buying behavior, Qtech Group has developed a unique collaboration platform with a variety of closely linked players. They believe in the power of collaboration and that when each player is given the opportunity to focus on their strengths, greater value can be created together.
With its main production and plant in Anderstorp, as well as a smaller office in Jönköping since 2023, the company today consists of 29 dedicated employees with a strong will to continue to grow.
The need
For Qtech Group, sustainability has always been an important aspect of their business. About three years ago, when they realized that sustainability cannot be addressed with shortcuts or short-term solutions, they decided to make a deep investment. One of the driving forces was that they already had a great business model to build on.
The choice was simple: either implement temporary measures or take sustainability seriously. Qtech Group chose the latter option and began implementing sustainability as a fundamental principle in both its corporate culture and strategy. Realizing that they needed expert help to navigate this complex journey towards a sustainable future, they approached Hållbarhetsteamet for support in certain areas.
The mission
For six intensive months, our Team worked side by side with Qtech Group to support in various sustainability challenges.
The work began by developing the work that Qtech Group had already started on its own; to define and shape a long-term vision with associated corporate values. Furthermore, we have carried out a climate assessment according to the GHG protocol, to identify the company’s largest emissions and thus be able to form an action plan to reduce the climate footprint. A major focus has also been on developing and improving the work in governance and follow-up, in order to prepare Qtech Group for connection to EcoVadis and verification according to ISO 26000. This has also meant updating and developing policies, agreeing on objectives and strategic decisions and identifying various key figures. Along the way, we have also spent time and resources on increasing knowledge internally in the company, through various training courses in, for example, systematic work environment management and sustainability in the supply chain.
All these elements have resulted in clearer, more strategic work that we later summarized and described in what would become Qtech Group’s first sustainability report. In this, Qtech Group expresses its ambitions, examples of different actions, description of direction, vision for the work and strategies to get there.

Furthermore, Hållbarhetsteamet has also supported in the actual connection to EcoVadis; partly in producing the right documentation and documents in collaboration with Qtech Group, and partly to act as a sounding board when Qtech Group carried out the upload in the system.
In parallel, work was also underway to align the company with the ISO 26000 standard. Here, our Team has helped by doing a so-called pre-verification, through current situation analysis and internal audit, to ensure that Qtech Group was ready for ISO 26000 verification.

Outcome
The successful collaboration resulted in impressive achievements for Qtech Group.
- They were awarded a gold medal by EcoVadis
- Verified according to ISO 26000
It is important to point out that this result is a consequence of both our collaboration and the significant preparatory work carried out by the Qtech Group itself in recent years. Achieving Gold in EcoVadis requires a genuine commitment, a clear direction and a passion to drive sustainability issues forward.
Hållbarhetsteamet is pleased to have been part of this journey and to have shared Qtech Group’s strong commitment to sustainability. At the same time, we hope that this clearly conveys that sustainability work is a long-term endeavor and not a simple path to success.
