Development projects

Through various types of projects, our Team has been involved in shaping tools and working methods to support companies in the transition.

Capacity Building Framework

In 2022, Hållbarhetsteamet, in collaboration with RISE and Jönköping University, has developed a tool for companies to assess their current position in sustainability work. The tool is based on five different phases in which a company can find itself. The tool gives companies the chance to consider a range of issues and areas related to sustainability, and the opportunity to create an action plan to move from the current position to the desired position.

Growkomp

In the fall of 2017, our Team was in charge of training and coaching about 20 companies in Jönköping, Nässjö, Sävsjö and Vaggeryd municipalities. The task was part of the GROWKOMP project, a 3-year project funded by the ESF (European Social Fund), with the aim of creating increased growth and competitiveness in the participating companies.

Hållbarhetsteamet’s intervention was organized in three half-day training sessions consisting of lectures and workshops. Between the training sessions, the company received a couple of hours of individual coaching from our consultants.

In the spring of 2019, we were again entrusted with carrying out the training and coaching component on sustainability/CSR within the framework of GROWKOMP 2.0.

Circular Economy pilot project

In 2019, Hållbarhetsteamet was the project manager for a Circular Economy pilot project funded by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and Region Jönköping Län. About 15 companies from Jönköping County, both manufacturing companies and service companies, participated in the project with the aim of increasing knowledge about the circular economy and awareness of the benefits of a circular business model. In 2022, we have developed the tools together with RISE, which we have also tested with customers.

What the companies got out of it

  • increased knowledge of circularity and circular business models
  • inspiration by hearing how other companies work with the circular economy
  • support to identify opportunities to make your business more circular
  • support to develop an action plan on how to implement it

Social innovation

Hållbarhetsteamet has been tasked with creating a dialog platform where companies and other actors in Jönköping County can meet to find solutions to various societal challenges. The aim was to increase knowledge about social innovation and how companies can contribute to solving the various challenges. The goal was to increase interaction between companies, public actors and business promotion actors to create more social innovations. The result was five proposals for how to reduce residential segregation in the county and a collaborative concept, called Brobygget, for how to reduce the time from exclusion to permanent employment from 8 to 2 years.

Hållbarhetsteamet has been a central part of the large regional project Social Innovation for Regional Development (SIRU). Hållbarhetsteamet has organized dialogue meetings with actors in the region who are passionate about social innovation in a positive, committed and very professional way. It has been a great pleasure to work with Hållbarhetsteamet
